Roxy > Question #1: For all of our fans that don’t know…what exactly is Toki Poki?

Toki > TokiPoki.com is an online pet community with members from all over the world. Most of our members have their own trading cards and use them as a fun way to get to know each other. We can meet other pets and share photos online…AND help our owners connect with each other so that they can have more resources for caring for us. It also gives us pets a chance to help out other pets in need by donating back to organizations through the sales of our trading cards.

Roxy > Question #2: What inspired the concept of pet trading cards?

Toki > I figured that every one of us pets is a super star and we all deserve recognition – so that’s when I decided that everyone should have their own trading cards that they can share. Mom says that she was inspired by the idea of pet trading cards to help raise awareness of pets while also getting to know the kids and parents in your neighborhood. It’s a fun way to make friends!

Roxy > Question #3: How do people use the pet trading cards?

Toki > The cards are great for giving out to friends and family, and even your neighbors so they can get to know a little bit about you. It’s no different than carrying a photo in your wallet! Some people even use the trading cards as business cards. The trading cards are also used to help pets in need – when TokiPoki.com sells our group packs of trading cards, 50% of the sale price is donated to a pet-related cause. And several times a year we deliver thousands of trading cards to children who are in hospitals to bring a smile to their faces when they can’t be at home. So far this year, we have delivered Valentine’s Day and Bunny Hop pet trading cards to Children’s Hospitals.

Roxy > Question #4: Tell us about some interesting members on Tokipoki.com…

Toki > All pets are interesting!! But really, there are so many cool members on Toki Poki that instead of me telling you about them, the Pawparazzi pets are going to start posting interviews with our members. Ricochet the Surfice Dog is the first Toki Poki member to be interviewed. I think the interview is being posted on Monday!

Roxy > Question #5: Do you think some Toki Poki pets and Pawparazzi Pets might be good friends?

Toki > Definitely! Actually, Misty is interviewing Snotface in Colorado and it seems that they are having so much fun that Snotface’s mommy said it was difficult to get Misty and Snotface to pose for a photo – they are too busy wrestling and playing together! Many of the Toki Poki pets have a lot in common with the Pawparazzi pets – some even have their own blogs!

Roxy > Question #6: How does a pet get its own trading card?

Toki > Go to www.tokipoki.com/join and click on the standard membership to sign up your pet. Please have your Mom and Dad help you fill in the information. If your parents order trading cards for your pet, make sure they mention that you heard about us from Pawparazzi so we can send you FREE trading cards of all of the Pawparazzi pets along with 50 of your pet’s trading card.

Roxy > Question #7: I understand that you have your own race car! What’s it like to move so fast?

Toki > I’m pretty fast on my own, so getting a race car was just a natural next step for me. Every time I would get up some speed in my back yard, I’d get to a fence and have to slow down, so I needed more space and horsepower. Going fast is fun! (and a little bit bumpy.) The cars are fast, but I bet if you threw a pink rubber ball, I could get to it before the car could!

Pawparazzi is also on my race car and we’re going to have a Celebrity Race soon with all of the Pawparazzi pets! It’s part of our “Racing 4 Rescues” program to help pets who need homes. Here are some photos!
